  • I would like to make a suggestion for a book to be included in Verbum. It is Daria Spezzano, Glory of God’s Grace: Deification According to St. Thomas Aquinas, Sapientia Press, 2015.

Deification is currently a topic of considerable interest among theologians, and, Professor Spezzano’s book is, IMHO, one of the best, if not the best, discussions of the subject. Her writing is clear and concise, and she is always courteous in her discussion of the views of other scholars, even when she disagrees with them.
