Hello! My name is Angela Lott, your friendly Catholic product specialist with Verbum Bible software. I wanted introduce myself to those reading our blog.
A bit about myself and my background:
I have a deep love for Catholic theology and ecumenism. These developed through attending Redeemer Pacific College, which was a small Catholic school attached to an evangelical school called Trinity Western University in Langley, British Columbia.
After attaining multiple Catholic certificates and completing a Bachelor’s degree in Christianity and Culture, I received a full scholarship to attend a Dominican graduate school next to Saint Louis University. My thesis compared the writings of Pope John Paul II and Eastern Orthodox theologian Sergius Bulgakov on the role of the Eucharist in ecumenism, meaning building unity between Christian groups.
Since then, I have held a variety of ministry roles. I have over 14 years of youth and young adult ministry experience. Everything from missionary work serving on National Evangelization Teams in Australia to being a Director of Religious Education, to RCIA coordinator, and more. I was even the Coordinator of Youth and Young Adult ministry at the largest Catholic parish in Western Canada for 5 years.
Marrying my husband led me to Bellingham, Washington. I have been working with Faithlife and Verbum Bible Software for nearly 4 years as a library specialist in the sales department.
It is a gift to help pastors, ministry leaders, missionaries, and lay people alike get the resources they need for their studies and help spread the Gospel.
I may be biased, but I think our customers are some of the best and most inspiring people in this world. It is a joy to help you better connect with the Word of God and to hear stories about your journey.
